For years, two vineyard workers each claimed credit for the exceptional fruit from this parcel — their rivalry so legendary it gave the block its name. Today, Bakleiblok stands as a testament to the loving care both poured into these old Cinsault bush vines.

Harvested by hand on 15 March 2022 from 32-year-old vines, this single-block wine is wild-fermented with minimal intervention — allowing the fruit's true character to speak for itself.
